“Korea-Sweden Folk-lifestyle Exhibition & Design-prop for culture exchange” is held on coming 16 September by Angsi Kwak at Durumea Museum that is South Korean traditional lifestyle museum. Yulin Social Culture Institute(YulinSCI), that Angsi Kwak operates as a director, arranged this exhibition and she planed entirely. It is sponsored by the Embassy of Sweden in Korea and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Angsi Kwak has collected pictures related with traditional lifestyle while traveling museums in Sweden. And then she made sewing frames with those pictures. And 1Meter 50Cm-hight sewing deer which she made also took a flight to Korea with her. Of course because it will be on display in Korea.
Among Swedish artists, Ulla Wennberg gave her art to this exhibition and 25 Korean creatives from England and German etc. have joined this exhibition as well. The focus of the exhibition is ‘the Exhibition & Design-prop for culture exchange’ that adapted tradition to fusion tradition. The exhibition is held from 16 September to 30 September in Korea. The title of the exhibition is ‘Angsi and friends’.
